Assigning method text to lines of menu instances

Dear all,

I'm having difficulties to change the method text behind menu lines on the fly.
The notation browser suggests something like

Calculate $imenus.[MyMenu].$objs.[MyMenuLine].$methods.[MyMethod].$methodlines.[LineNumber].$text as  #S1

... however, this seems not to work. Can anyone maybe shed light on this mystery ?

The menu line,  method and its line are already there, so it does not fail because the method or its line does not exist.
