O$: vertical text in a report

Hi all,

I want to have some vertical text labels in a report.  I found a great post from David Swain that explains how to do this using the style(kEscAngle,90) syntax:

Yes, this works, but before I commence coding I'm wondering if there might be an easier way to accomplish this?
