Hi Reg,
I'm using win7x64 and O6.1x64 appears to be faster than the previous 32bit 6.03 version. Other than that, I don't think there is a benefit, but there might be downsides when your backend does not support 64bit or is not supported by a 64bit DAM. However, in general when I'm on a 64bit OS I always prefer the 64bit application.
Best greetings
Mischa

Hi everyone,
Can anyone give me a simple set of principles on when to choose 64-bit
vs 32-bit? I am looking for the points the Omnis documentation does
not cover.
What are the significant benefits of a 64-bit Omnis application?
Could I get away with only making 32-bit installers for my product?
What computers/OS versions will the 64-bit versions NOT run on?
Thanks,
Reg
