I certainly do not, although I do remember reading about it. There is recent project at sourceforge that is open source: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mumps/

The readme file indicates that it runs on many flavors of *nix, including mac osx, and will run on windows with cygwin installed.

Perhaps that would give you something to play with and to stimulate ideas or insight on how to bridge the gap.

stackoverflow is always an interesting place to hang out. Looks like there is some support for JDBC connections.
