Jonathan,

If you are on Mac I can recommend MailMate as IMAP mail client, it 
allows me to easily post & respond on the list.

ex: I don’t now if you see the difference if I respond to your first 
message ( this mail )

as an example I also respond to Bob Fiering’s mail.

With MailMate you can easily see this in a tree
