Smart Grid jump up and down on evClick O$ 5.2

Hello All,

Not a new problem, but one that has resurfaced in an old app I have to support.  Both Mac & Win, v5.21

I have a smartgrid with 100 rows, I click in a field on row 1, then scroll down to row 99 and click into a field in row 99.  The smartgrid jumps back to the top and to about row 5.  I can't think how to stop this mad behaviour, done it before, not not at the moment.
