OS 5 and Openbase

Hi,

Is anyone using Studio 5 and Openbase?

I have a customer who has an old Omnis 7 app that uses Openbase as the backend. They are having me re-do parts of it in Studio. When running Studio on a Mac everything seems to work fine. When Studio is on Windows, some queries work fine and others totally kill Openbase. It is very reproducible.

There are no Openbase DAM's on Omnis web site but they are included with Studio 5.2 so I'm assuming they are the latest version. The Openbase website doesn't seem to have been updated in years and the DAMS they have for download aren't compatible with Studio 5. Is Openbase still in business??

Anyway, just wondering if anyone has any experience with this as it seems to be a Windows only issue as far as I can tell.

I just sent a note to Omnis support but I'm guessing they will tell me it's an Openbase issue. The customer does not have support with Openbase so not sure if they will respond but figured I'd ask here first.
