O$5.2 js Dates and Times

Update.

I learned from Omnis Tech Support that the "servers" have to set to UTC.

 From tech support:
"The server that is hosting the JavaScript forms *as well as the data*
needs be running UTCThe server that is hosting the JavaScript forms as
well as the data needs be running UTC"

So, I set my workstation time zone to UTC seeing as it is the
"JavaScript host server" for forms testing. It appears to work fine. I
did not set the db server to UTC. Am I wrong in thinking that if I do
set the db server to UTC any existing dates/times will be reported wrong
as they are currently stamped with the Eastern US time zone offset?

I need to get the actual Omnis WebServer running and do some additional
tests.
