O7.3.8 Hangs on dialogue windows

Some questions 
 
What make is the Laptop 
are you using 7.3.8 or 7.3.8.1 
and are you using the keypad or a mouse?
 
I found that using the keypad with all versions under 7.3.8.1 Omnis crashes 
 - it is all to do with the driver
