Hello Wendy,

I have been able to set the From value in both 07 and Studio.  Note  
that Jim's way does not use an email client at all, so no default user  
here for Outlook, etc.  Maybe your smtp server/omnis smtp command will  
subsutitute From with the User if left blank, but otherwise it should  
send the values sent to it.
