Hi Paul,

Not seen this exact thing, but some of the newer printer drives do not work
so well in O7. Have you tried a different printer?

Mike

Subject: O7: missing page heading sections

Hi Everyone,

Seasons greetings everyone, I hope you had a good break.

One of my clients decided to use the break to migrate their ancient Omnis
7.3.8 application to a new Windows 2008 R2 server. It all went smoothly
until they tried to print a report - for some reason, the "Page Header"
section of each report does not print at all on their system. The same
libraries and datafile on my local XP box, works fine.

The (short-term) workaround that I did was to turn the Page Heading into a
Subtotal Heading 1, and then it printed fine. However, this can only be a
short-term fix, because not all reports can be modified like this.

Has anyone come across this issue before? Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Paul.
