ios: kFromTransitionType/Direction

Hi,

Does anyone know what you are meant to do with the ios Constant Grops 
kFromTransType/Directiion.  $beginannimatinos() and $commitanimatiions() 
seem to be used with the kIOSAnimationCurve constants.  I have trawled 
the documentation and I can find no reference to what should be done 
with them in either the help files or PDF manuals.

Anyone get any ideas?
