O$5.1 Cannot LogOn to Oracle with W7 64b

Hi Roberto,

Which version of oracle are you using? We use oracle 10g on xp 64 bit. We have to install omnis in c:\program files\ in stead of c:\program files (x86)\ Oracle cannot handle the brackets (I suppose oracle fixed this bug in newer versions). Have you tried running omnis with administrator privileges? Oracle 10G also seems to have problems when running as normal user (haven't investigated this further because we mainly use xp).

thank for your answer.
I'm using the 32 bit Oracle client on the W7 64 bit, but it doesn't connect. The Oracle XE db encoding is not unicode but MSWIN1251. Does'it matter?
