Hi all,
Sorry I have taken a while to respond to your suggestions.
We seem to have fixed the problem at our client site. The person who
set it up set up a separate login for each user and a separate
installation of Omnis and our libraries for each user. However, the
shortcut on each user's desktop actually opened the library from the
same directory. When the main library opened a secondary library the
error occured. I think this is because we copy classes from the main
library to the secondary library, which means the file is modified
and this obviously caused a conflict with 2 users writing to the same
file (maybe because of caching or maybe just simultaneous access).
We now have 2 users happily working away simultaneously.
Thanks for your suggestions.
