Hi Andy,

When I asked support about this a few months back they said there was no 
guarantees about what might not work in Studio if you didn't install 
from the installer as the registry entries weren't there and whatever 
else Studio does to register it on Windows.

This is great news if it's true. Have you confirmed it with Tiger?
