List added to gmane.org

Hi Matthias,

One concern I have - how easy is it for someone to harvest the email
addresses from this source?  One of the things that Clifford and David used
to go to great lengths on, was validating those who wanted to subscribe,
detecting those who did not have valid credentials and were jsuting fishing
for email addresses etc.  This protected us.

I presume that the Fab Four who are managing the list are doing a similar
thing.  I don't want to make it easy for spammers, so hence my concern about
posting the list archives in gmane.org...
