$O Scan using Omnis

Normally the scanner support a twain interface, and you get a lot of  
software when you buy one.
For the "Basic" needs it fitts.

Im using it for my emailarchive, my notes, and my documents.




If you want a integration into a software you could use libs like the  
one from kellyb or the wangimagecontrol ( part of Windows) or many  
many ore custom libs.

Im using a epson scanner. It has also a driver fo the mac. Another  
possibility is SANE.
